Wake up naturally with the Philips wakeup light.

If you’re anything like me and find it hard to wake up in the morning I have quite possibly one of the best alarm clocks to tell you about today. Its called the Philips wakeup light!

I don’t get much sun in my bedroom, im not blessed with a big open window in my sleeping area and im south-facing so I barely see the sun in my room. If that sounds like you, this may be the best thing you can buy for yourself or someone you know. Someone who enjoys waking up without the annoyance of a loud buzzer that you just want to throw out the window. All you do is set the alarm 30 minutes prior to you wanting to wake up. So for example you set it for 7:00am if you want to wake up at 7:30. Once you input that time a very little but very bright halogen light inside the lamp begins to illuminate at 7:00am. It continues to get more and more intense until 7:30am at which point it gets brighter than the sun! not literally.. but it can get very bright! I’ve tried this for the past 2 days and I can tell you I feel great in the morning, it’s quite nice to wake up to an illuminated room over a beeping buzzer. Worth checking out for sure.

There are two main models

HF3485 - This is the higher end model with dual alarms, sleeping feature which dims the light to put you to sleep, FM radio, A usb jack for you to play your own music. It also has nice silver accents.

HF3470 – This model offers 1 alarm, FM radio, all white in appearance.

Sonic demoted to charging your Nintendo Wiimotes *sad face*

10 years ago you would be laughed at if you even mentioned the idea of Sonic appearing in any Nintendo game. 10 years and A failed console later look at him now.. sad and alone giving juice to your Wiimotes. Come on Sega, how could you let this happen to our dear friend Sonic. If you feel for Sonic as much as I do, you can take him home and have him take care of your Wiimotes for $49.99 from MadCatz.

Best worst invention of 2010. Just in the nick of time.

This has got to be the most useless, space occupying gaming peripheral of 2010! Some joker decided to sell a raft to make your Kinect adventures experience a more realistic one. Seriously, if you’re willing to go this far to imitate rafting you may as well go rafting for real.  Shamelessly bad publicity is still publicity right?

Christmas Gift Idea #5 Fuji W3 3D Camera

This camera might not be an everyday use camera but it sure has its wow factor. What other consumer camera do you know of that can take 3D images in high-resolution and allow you to print them in 3D! Let me answer that for you – None. Its going to cost you roughly $6.00 per print, that’s pretty hefty compared to a 0.29 cents photo but it is 5×7 so it’s a tad larger and it’ll be quite the center of attention when people come over to mingle. More importantly, you can capture those special moments in 3D! Another cool feature is you can record 3D video and output it to your 3D television! The camera is encased in an all metal body, you preview your images on a quality glass 3D screen which does NOT require silly glasses! Theres just an overload of awesomeness in this camera which is why It makes this a great christmas gift idea.

This camera comes in at $499.99 CAD
