I don’t know about you but these are the most beautiful knives I’ve ever seen. These are made of layered Damascus steel -32 layers to be exact. What makes it even more striking is this particular line has a hand pounded finish known as ‘Tsuchime’ in Japanese. The Hand hammered finish isn’t only for the good looks it reduces drag when cutting and keeps food from sticking to the knife! The Handle is made from premium pakkawood. I hear this knife is extremely well balanced and is wickedly sharp. Throw that Ikea knife block away and pick up a 6-8″ Santoku or chef knife along with a 4″ paring knife and you’re good to go for probably the rest of your life.

Dice your carrots in style with Shun Premier knives!
Published February 9, 2011 Uncategorized Leave a CommentToyota has owned stakes in Subaru’s parent company Fuji Heavy Industries for decades but it wasnt until 2009 when they decided to collaborate with Subaru. We know of Subaru’s as having boxer engines which boast a lower center of gravity and having incredible torque and power output. After Saab had a successful run with the SAABaru 92x which had a 2.0L WRX motor in it, its Toyota’s turn to have some fun. Originally Toyota planned to use a similar lower powered motor which they claimed to have roughly 200HP (probably the WRX) but now in recently news they’ve decided to up the specs of the car to a 2.5L 305HP STi powerhouse into their 2 door RWD coupe! another note is this car was originally named the FT-86 based on their old 1986 Corolla the AE-86. This is exciting both in the Toyota community and Subaru because for Toyota, This is their new AE86 (Hatchi Roku) everybody has been raving about since the days of Initial D! Subaru Fans also rejoice because an STi will finally come in a coupe form! This is truly an exciting time for japanese sports car junkies.
